Moojood – Dar Essalam is a corner restaurant curated by Tellure atelier within the newly launched Marché Dar Essalam — Morocco’s first contemporary food hall, inspired by the European model of fresh-food markets. While common in many international cities, the concept of a market combining fresh produce and restaurant stalls is still new in Morocco, making this space a pioneering step for the capital. Moojood is a fast-growing brand dedicated to fresh, healthy, and traditional Moroccan street food. Designed to appeal to a new generation of Moroccan professionals in search of quality and authenticity, the Dar Essalam location anchors the brand’s values in a spatial language that reflects both its cultural heritage and contemporary ambition. The restaurant is conceived as a modern Moroccan interior. Traditional green zellige tiles and a mosaic floor form the base, paired with clean-lined Danish woodwork and oak furniture that bring warmth and clarity to the space. The contrast between materials anchored in tradition and minimalist design reflects the studio’s dual identity, rooted between Copenhagen and Morocco.
