Tellure atelier is an architectural and interior design studio founded in 2021 by May Ibentoumert. Trained at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, May’s career spans France, Spain, and London, including experience at Studio KO and Foster + Partners.

Based between Copenhagen and Casablanca, Tellure draws its style from the craftsmanship and elegance of Danish design and the raw, elemental materials of Morocco. Working across scales, from residential and hospitality projects to master planning, the studio designs spaces that respond to their context, shaping innovative forms that harmoniously blend into their surroundings.

At the heart of its ethos is the belief that well-crafted spaces have the power to enhance our well-being and inspire creativity. In recent years, Tellure has been developing a particular interest in rammed earth construction, building on May’s dedication to craft and materiality. Following specialized training in France, the studio seeks to cast a new light on this ancestral technique in Morocco, highlighting its renewed potential, already widely explored in Europe, to inform contemporary, sustainable architecture in Morocco and beyond.
